PAR G5 - How to check your detection

Here are the steps to check detection on  your base station. 

1.  Locate the screws at the bottom of the unit. You might need a flathead screwdriver to loosen these.

2. Once the screws are removed lift from the bottom and the lid should come off.


2. With the cover open, you should see the loop detection modules. Please note - for a single lane you will have one module. For a dual lane, you will have two.

3. Confirm the detection  module has a red or green light on it. If there is no lights on then the detection module will have to be replaced.

4. If there are lights on the detection unit, AND NO CARS IN YOUR DRIVE-THRU LANE press the reset button on the detection module.

5. If it's still not working your unit will require a service call.
